Membership in the Czechoslovakian Vlcak Society of America is open to all interested in the breed. We are always interested in new members and invite you to join our club.
Included in your membership is CSVSA’s newsletter. It covers rescue, special events, health related news, achievements within the club and its’ members, stories, legislative news and much more!
Membership eligibility
Applicants must attend a minimum of one (1) general meeting per year. This includes new applicants and members in good standing wishing to renew their membership.
A completed CSVSA application with sponsoring endorsement of two members in good standing. Applicants will be reviewed by the Board of Directors of the Czechoslovakian Vlcak Society of America, and then must receive a favorable ⅔ vote from the Directors to be approved for membership.
If Membership is denied, fees will be refunded in full.
Annual membership Dues
Individual $25 - this type of membership gives all club privileges including the right to vote and hold office. Members must own a Czechoslovakian Vlcak prior to initial application.
Family $35 - this type of membership is for two (2) adult members residing in the same household, each eligible to vote and hold office.
Associate $15- This type of membership is for those who do not yet own a Czechoslovakian Vlcak, but wishes to participate in the club. It is a non-voting, non-office holding membership which may automatically turn into a voting membership upon the 2nd renewal of this membership. If an Associate member obtains a Czechoslovakian Vlcak during a paid membership year, they may switch to a full individual membership by paying the difference between Associate and Individual membership.
Foreign $20 - for those who are not a resident within the United States or a resident of the United States territories and possessions. This membership can enjoy all club privileges excluding voting and holding office.
*with the exception of Foreign members, all other members must attend a minimum of one (1) general meeting per year.
Junior - this type of membership is only open to minors under the age of 18 years old. It is a non-voting/non-office holding membership which may automatically turn into an individual at the age of 18. Junior members must have an adult apply and is free under an individual membership.
Honorary - this type of membership shall be bestowed upon an individual who has made significant contributions to the Sport, Breed or the Club. Honorary members shall pay no dues and are not eligible to vote and hold office.
Life - this type of membership may be granted to those individuals who have been members for a long period of time (usually 20+ years) and who have also made significant contributions to the Sport, Breed or the Club. Life members shall pay no dues but are eligible to vote and hold office.
